Privacy Policy

Who we are

dekoboko studio ("we," "us," or "our") built Vertex Core as a self-contained arcade game. This policy explains what data the app does, and does not, handle.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, device identifiers (such as IDFA), or any other personal data. The app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it makes no network requests of its own to any server we operate.

What's stored on your device

The app saves a single local settings file (user:// sandboxed app storage, private to Vertex Core) containing:

• Your local high-score table and the 3-letter arcade name you enter for it
• Game settings: difficulty level and music/SFX volume
• Whether you've unlocked the full version, and whether you've acknowledged the one-time photosensitivity notice

None of this ever leaves your device, is never linked to your identity, and is never sent to us or any third party. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

In-app purchases

The full-version unlock is processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing, depending on your platform. Payment details are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your payment information. We only receive confirmation that an entitlement was purchased, which is saved locally as described above.

Sharing your score

The game-over screen lets you save a screenshot of your score and share it through your device's native share sheet. This is entirely your choice and happens only when you tap the share button. The screenshot is saved locally and nothing is sent anywhere unless you actively choose a destination (e.g. Messages, social media) from your device's own share menu. Anything you share that way is then subject to that destination's own privacy policy, not ours.

Children's privacy

Vertex Core does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no personal information from any user, it does not require special handling to comply with COPPA or similar children's privacy laws.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, for example if a future update adds analytics or online features, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above before that update ships.
