How we work

One studio, the whole arc of a product.

We stay close from the first rough idea to the build, so nothing important gets lost in a handoff.

Product design

Beginning with intent, context, and purpose long before the first design takes shape.

Interface & interaction

The pixels, the motion, the feel of every tap and click. The details that make software feel certain.

Prototyping

Real, clickable software you can hold and test long before anyone commits a line of production code.

Design systems

The kit of parts that keeps a product coherent as it grows from one screen into a hundred.

Every product starts out a little dekoboko. Bumpy. Uneven.

Dekoboko (凸凹) is the Japanese word for bumpy and uneven — the shape of two pieces that haven't quite found their fit. It is also exactly how most software begins: rough edges, awkward flows, little bumps that slow people down all day long.

Our job is to find those bumps and smooth them, without sanding away the character that makes a product worth using. We are a small, hands-on studio, which means the people you talk to are the people doing the work.
